Nameer Khan feels sorry for real-life Zamils
The actor behind Dar-e-Nijaat's most hated husband says Zamil is a mindset, not just a character.

Nameer Khan plays Zamil, the man who makes Zaryab's life miserable in Dar-e-Nijaat. In a conversation with content creator Bilal Hassan, he said Zamil is less a single character than a mindset he has seen in men and boys around him. "They exist and I feel sorry for them," he said.
Khan traced the attitude to insecurity, peer pressure and locker-room talk that friends fail to challenge. His fix starts early: better parenting, schools stepping in, and teaching boys empathy by asking how a sister or mother would feel.
