After a long fight over censorship in Sindh, Ghost School was scheduled to open in Pakistani cinemas on Friday 30 October. Director Seemab Gul had announced the date for Punjab and Sindh, and CUE Cinemas listed the film among its programmes that day.
Gul's 88-minute Urdu feature debut stars Nazualiya Arsalan as Rabia, with Samina Seher and Adnan Shah Tipu. The film has already played at the Toronto International Film Festival and in Berlin's Generation Kplus section. Showtimes may vary by cinema and province.
