Mitti De Baway races to 200 million views
Mahira Khan and Wahaj Ali's period drama reportedly crossed 200 million views in six episodes.
Mitti De Baway is moving fast. The Green Entertainment drama has reportedly passed 200 million views in just six episodes, which would make it the fastest Pakistani drama to reach that mark. The figure has not been independently verified.
Set in rural Punjab in the 1980s and 1990s, the show pairs Mahira Khan, as Billo, with Wahaj Ali, as Baala, for the first time. Faiza Iftikhar wrote it and Syed Wajahat Hussain directs. It airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm.
