A rapid-fire answer from Janhvi Kapoor on Koffee With Karan 9 has drawn criticism online, according to Bollywood Shaadis. Asked by Karan Johar for dating advice for Veer Pahariya, brother of her partner Shikhar, she replied: "Never take her to a concert."
The remark was widely read as a reference to Veer's ex, Tara Sutaria, who faced online trolling earlier this year over an onstage moment at AP Dhillon's concert, which she said was purely work. Some viewers called Janhvi's line mean-spirited, arguing Tara had already been unfairly targeted. Janhvi has not publicly responded.
