Sunny Deol's doubts about Ikka
Netflix's Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh says Sunny Deol was nervous about a streaming debut with no action scenes.
Sunny Deol had his doubts about making his streaming debut in Ikka, according to Netflix India's Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, as reported by Inshorts from a Hindustan Times interview. She said the star was apprehensive because the courtroom drama had no action, a rare thing in his career.
His hesitation was heightened by the film arriving soon after Border 2. Sheikh said she won him over by pointing to the novelty of the genre shift. Ikka, which co-stars Akshaye Khanna, was released on Netflix on 10 July.
