Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have spoken about marking Diwali in Abu Dhabi, saying the festival still feels familiar far from home, according to Bollywood Hungama. Deepika said Diwali has always been about quality time with family, and credited the city's respect for different cultures with making it feel welcoming for every generation.
Ranveer said each visit reveals something new, from art and shopping to food and waterfront stays. He described Diwali there as a time for dressing up, festive meals and togetherness. The couple have both been ambassadors for the emirate's tourism brand, Experience Abu Dhabi, since Deepika joined Ranveer in that role in 2025.
