Bhumi and Akshay reunite
Priyadarshan has confirmed Bhumi Pednekar for his untitled 1970s comedy starring Akshay Kumar.
Bhumi Pednekar is teaming up with Akshay Kumar for a third time, joining Priyadarshan's next film, according to the Free Press Journal, which cites the director's confirmation to Hindustan Times. The pair previously starred together in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Raksha Bandhan.
The untitled comedy is set in the 1970s and marks Akshay's ninth collaboration with Priyadarshan. Rajpal Yadav is also in the cast. Filming is expected to begin in the last week of November on a three-month schedule, with Rajasthan, Mumbai and Bhopal among the planned locations.
