Tovino backs a new directorial voice with Avaran
Tovino Thomas's upcoming slate includes Avaran, the first feature from debutant director Shilpa Alexander.
Tovino Thomas's upcoming Avaran brings him together with debutant director Shilpa Alexander. The film sits within a slate stretching across fantasy, romance and larger commercial projects: he has just wrapped the romantic fantasy Munpe, and also has Muhsin Parari's Gracias El Clasico opposite Nazriya Nazim, a film with Guppy director Johnpaul George and Vysakh's Khalifa 2: The Legacy ahead.
With further details still limited, the strongest angle is the established actor's collaboration with a filmmaker making her feature debut.
