The Puppy team reunites
Ayush Malli and team follow Puppy with the North Karnataka family comedy Naavu Tumba Olleyavaru.
Director Ayush Malli and the core team behind last year's sleeper hit Puppy have reunited for Naavu Tumba Olleyavaru, a family entertainer set in North Karnataka, Cinema Express reports. The title translates as We Are Very Good People, and the comedy centres on life in a vathara, or chawl, while also highlighting the traditions of the nomadic Helava community.
The film wrapped after a 52 day shoot on live locations including Vijayapura and Gadag. Ayush writes, directs and plays a lead role, with Puppy cast members Jagadeesh Koppal, Aadi, Durugappa and Renuka returning. The trailer is out and post-production is in its final stages.
