Sanjeev Megoti returns with On Duty
The writer and director's first Kannada film in 12 years stars Vijay Raghavendra.
Writer and director Sanjeev Megoti is back in Kannada cinema after a 12 year gap with On Duty, starring Vijay Raghavendra and Krishna Sai, according to Cinema Express. Stunt master Thriller Manju is staging a major action sequence for the film.
Megoti, who has written more than 45 television serials, said the title reflects how people stay on duty for their families around the clock. Over 75 per cent of the talkie portions are complete, with three action set pieces and the songs to go. Vijay Raghavendra said the film reunites him with Vinaya Prasad nearly 20 years after Ganesha Matte Banda.
