Salaar 2 finally gets a shooting target
Prashanth Neel says the Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran sequel will start rolling in June 2027.
Prashanth Neel has indicated June 2027 as the planned start for Salaar: Part 2, Shouryaanga Parvam. The director shared the timeline during a promotional interaction with Prabhas for the horror film 418, which Neel is presenting, after the actor jokingly asked for a birthday gift.
Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's unfinished screen conflict as Deva and Varadharaja Mannar remains the obvious draw, but a filming target is different from a release announcement. Neel is first expected to complete Jr NTR's Dragon. The sequel has a next step to discuss, even if its theatrical date remains open.
