Saiju Kurup steps onto Bafana United's pitch
The first look of the football-themed Malayalam film shows Saiju Kurup riding with two teenagers.
Football provides the backdrop for Saiju Kurup's Bafana United, whose first look was unveiled this month. Nazer Irimbiliyam and Dr Haris KT direct the project, and the poster shows Saiju on a motorcycle with two teenagers riding behind him, with hashtags pointing towards a story about football and young people.
Imak Productions is producing, and the rest of the cast, story and release date are yet to be announced. It adds a sporting flavour to an already varied upcoming lineup for Kurup, which also includes Harivarasanam.
