Prabhas returns to Bhairava's world
Vyjayanthi Movies marked the star's birthday with behind-the-scenes footage confirming he has joined the Kalki sequel shoot.
Prabhas joined the shoot of the Kalki 2898 AD sequel around his 23 October birthday, with Vyjayanthi Movies releasing behind-the-scenes material that puts Bhairava back in the spotlight, Sacnilk reports. Director Nag Ashwin had already filmed portions with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan while waiting for Prabhas's availability.
Nag Ashwin's follow-up now has a tangible production update beyond the usual speculation. The director hopes to complete principal photography by mid-2027, with a theatrical release tentatively expected in 2028. For audiences invested in that universe, filming progress is the news that matters.
