One actor, three characters, one psychological puzzle
Amit Rao writes, directs and plays all three characters in the Kannada thriller Yadbhavam Tadbhavati, now streaming free on YouTube.
Yadbhavam Tadbhavati has reached YouTube, with Amit Rao playing all three characters at the centre of its story. He also wrote and directed the psychological thriller, which connects past, present and future, and which the makers say collected as many as 75 awards on the international festival circuit.
The film premiered on Vijayadashami. The Kannada version is available through the BCD Studiouz YouTube channel, with a Telugu version planned to follow. Rao describes the one-actor, three-character format as, to the best of his knowledge, a first of its kind in Indian cinema.
