Nazriya Nazim has shared new photographs of herself in the green off-the-shoulder outfit she wore to a Dubai promotional event for her upcoming Tamil film Scene, according to Cinema Express. The look had drawn derogatory comments online, while many users defended her choice and pushed back against body shaming and dress code policing.
Co-star Naslen and director Jithu Madhavan left supportive comments under her post, the outlet reports. Scene, produced by Suriya and Jyotika, pairs Nazriya with Suriya for the first time and marks her return to Tamil cinema after 2014. It is slated for a 6 November theatrical release in India.
