Manoj Bajpayee has a Malayalam recommendation

Asked at the IFP Festival Season 16 in Mumbai to name a film or show he had loved watching in 2026, Manoj Bajpayee named Sentimental Value, Sirāt and then Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. "There is a Malayalam romantic film I really liked, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit," he said.
The Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju romance was the only Indian title he specifically mentioned in that answer. For a film about a young woman falling for her older neighbour, it is a rather distinguished addition to the admirers' list. Girish AD's Onam release is now the highest grossing Malayalam film worldwide and has been streaming on JioHotstar since 2 October.
