Karate Chandran finally starts rolling
Fahadh Faasil's long-announced Bhavana Studios film went on floors on 24 October for a 140-day shoot around Kottayam.
After its announcement in February 2024, Fahadh Faasil's Karate Chandran began filming on 24 October with a formal pooja and switch-on ceremony. Debutant Roy, who has worked as co-director alongside Dileesh Pothan since Maheshinte Prathikaaram, directs for Bhavana Studios, with an extensive 140-day schedule planned around Kottayam.
Writers S Hareesh and Vinoy Thomas, who previously collaborated on Churuli, are aboard, making the writing team another reason to follow the production closely. Vijayaraghavan, Johny Antony and Sudheesh are among the ensemble.
