Jiiva joins forces with Musthafa
Jiiva's 49th film, directed by Kappela filmmaker Muhammad Musthafa and co-starring Nimisha Sajayan, launched with a pooja.
Jiiva's 49th film has launched with a pooja ceremony, with Malayalam director Muhammad Musthafa at the helm and Nimisha Sajayan and Angel Maria of Vaazha 2 in the cast. Jiiva is also co-producing the project with Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios.
Musthafa won the Kerala State Award for Best Debut Director for Kappela and last made Mura. The Tamil and Malayalam creative crossover is the attraction here, with a fresh combination doing more to stir curiosity than a grand plot announcement. Jiiva's earlier pairing with a Malayalam director this year, Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, became a sleeper hit.
