Chandra Keerthi announces Coffee Bite
The Tootu Madike director will helm and lead a Kannada romantic comedy.
Actor and director Chandra Keerthi M, who debuted as a director with Tootu Madike, will direct and play the lead in his second film, Coffee Bite, according to Cinema Express. The romantic comedy is produced under the SpreadON Studio banner.
The film looks at love, relationships and society's influence on choosing a life partner. Chandra Keerthi wrote the story and co-wrote the screenplay with Trilok Trivikrama and Sameera Simha, while Swaminathan R K composes the music. Shooting is under way in Bengaluru and Honnavar, with about a quarter of the schedule complete. The team is targeting a January or February 2027 release.
