The farmhouse-set thriller Anima has completed post-production and secured Karnataka theatrical distribution through Ravi Cinema. Its music and audio rights have also been sold to what the makers describe as a leading record label, although no price was disclosed. Vardhan M H writes and directs.
Sharath Padmanabh and Anusha Krishna lead the film, with Sushmitha in a pivotal role, and the story blends romance and psychological friction with its mystery. It uses an isolated setting to build its atmosphere of unease. A release date is expected to be announced shortly.
