Sargun says a good script is only the beginning
Sargun Mehta explains why she and Ravie Dubey moved into production.
Explaining her move into production in June, Sargun Mehta said a film can go wrong at several stages, including execution and promotion. “Sometimes, gaps exist at every level of filmmaking,” she told AHN.
Her point was practical: having a strong story does not guarantee the right people or decisions around it. Producing, which she began with Ravie Dubey through Dreamiyata Entertainment in 2019, gives her more influence over what happens after the script is approved.
