Imtiaz reveals the quieter Diljit behind the stage persona
Imtiaz Ali says Diljit Dosanjh is reserved off stage, while Sharvari recalled her own nerves.
Discussing Main Vaapas Aaunga in May, Imtiaz Ali described Diljit Dosanjh as reserved when meeting new people, despite his exuberance on stage. Sharvari recalled being nervous around him too: “I was so nervous, I couldn’t even speak to him.”
It is an appealing behind-the-scenes detail: two performers can appear entirely confident in public and still feel awkward during an introduction.
