Haye Ni Bebe Meriye complicates the overseas escape plan
A Punjabi family comedy on Chaupal starts with a plan to go abroad and ends up looking back home.
A family rivalry helps set an overseas plan in motion in Haye Ni Bebe Meriye, before lies and relationships complicate the journey. The 2026 comedy drama is listed in Chaupal’s collection.
It uses a familiar Punjabi aspiration as its starting point, then asks what the characters might be overlooking at home. For audiences who made that move themselves, the question may land closer than expected.
