Apoorva Arora called the Chandigarh crime thriller City Beautiful a homecoming after years away from Punjabi films.
Apoorva Arora called City Beautiful a homecoming when discussing its Chandigarh and Mohali shoot in July. Returning to Punjabi cinema after Disco Singh, in which she appeared alongside Diljit Dosanjh, she told IANS: "After Disco Singh, I was waiting for a Punjabi script that genuinely excited me, and City Beautiful was exactly the kind of project I had been hoping for."
The crime thriller supplied that opportunity, although she kept her character's details private. She also said she planned to visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar once the shoot wrapped.
