Henry Cavill picks up another sword, with Russell Crowe offering guidance

Henry Cavill plays immortal warrior Connor MacLeod in the new Highlander, while Russell Crowe takes on mentor Ramirez. Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou and Dave Bautista round out an imposing ensemble. John Wick director Chad Stahelski is behind the camera, which makes the sword fights especially enticing.
A release date remains unconfirmed in the announcement, but the casting certainly isn't lacking muscle.
