Dunk and Egg's drought was interrupted by floods
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms went looking for heat and dryness for season two and found a once-in-a-century storm.

You couldn't script this production headache. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms went to Spain in search of heat and dryness for season two's drought storyline, only to encounter what showrunner Ira Parker called a "once-in-a-100-year storm". Parker told The Hollywood Reporter the season was "somehow 10 times harder" to film than the first.
Despite the disruption, the next Dunk and Egg adventure is expected in early 2027. Westeros apparently has nothing on real weather.
