Netflix's live-action Assassin's Creed is telling an original story set in 64 AD, with production based in Rome. The ensemble includes Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Noomi Rapace and Sean Harris. Its creators promise a story involving "power and violence and sex and greed and vengeance".
That should keep the Roman authorities occupied. A premiere date has yet to be announced.
