The creators of 3 Body Problem say season two's conflicts become "more cosmic" and its story "much bigger". Claudia Doumit and Ellie de Lange join the regular cast, with Alfie Allen among the recurring additions. Netflix has also renewed the show for a third season.
The next chapter's precise premiere date remains unannounced in its production update, but modest ambitions clearly aren't the problem.
