Smriti Irani says she remains open to acting after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Speaking to The Times of India, as reported by Movies Interesting Facts, she described acting as "a craft I have never stopped loving" and said she would give time and effort to any work she finds interesting.
Irani has previously said she asked for work herself after the 2024 election, rather than waiting for an offer, and sees no shame in starting again. She prefers to call her return as Tulsi Virani a reinvention rather than a comeback. No new acting project has been announced.
