Mahhi Vij discusses refusing alimony
On Bigg Boss 20, the actor explained why she did not take alimony or maintenance from Jay Bhanushali.
Actor Mahhi Vij has spoken on Bigg Boss 20 about her decision not to take alimony from her former husband, Jay Bhanushali. According to India News Network, she said she did not take "a single penny" in alimony and did not ask for maintenance.
Vij said she respects Bhanushali's efforts for the family and did not want money she sees as his hard-earned income. She also said she wants to be financially independent and secure her daughter Tara's future herself. She has previously denied reports that she sought a large settlement, and Bhanushali has publicly said she and Tara remain his responsibility.
