Hina Khan reveals the difficult moments behind Ladakh pictures
Hina Khan says her first trip to Ladakh brought daily nosebleeds and called the region a test of endurance.

Hina Khan's Ladakh trip wasn't all stunning landscapes. In an early-October post, she described her first visit as "truly a test of endurance" and said she experienced nosebleeds every day of her stay because of the thin, dry air. She said none of the group had altitude sickness or needed oxygen.
She also shared travel advice, from acclimatisation and layering to saline nasal sprays. Her recollection provides a less glamorous companion to the holiday photographs: even a beautiful journey can come with uncomfortable days.
