That gives the new fantasy drama an emotional foundation beneath its elaborate visuals: sisters whose extraordinary lives are already surrounded by threats.
The opening episode sets up the conflict surrounding their birth and introduces the forces threatening their world, with Adaa Khan's Nirritti as the antagonist. Paras Kalnawat co-leads the Star Plus show, which premiered on 21 October.
