Anupamaa helped Rupali fulfil her father's dream
Rupali Ganguly says Anupamaa let her buy the house her late father, filmmaker Anil Ganguly, always wanted.
Rupali Ganguly revealed at FICCI Frames 2026 that Anupamaa helped her achieve something deeply personal: owning a home, a dream her late father, filmmaker Anil Ganguly, had cherished. Behind the familiar success story is a family memory shaped by financial difficulty. "I fulfilled my father's dream of having a house through this show," she said, adding that she wants to keep playing the character for as long as possible.
Rupali also credited producer Rajan Shahi with restarting her career. "With Anupama, I got my due as an actor," she said.
