Amitabh apologises over a delayed library
On KBC 18, Amitabh Bachchan apologised to residents of his ancestral village Babu Patti over a children's library yet to open.
Amitabh Bachchan used Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 to address residents of Babu Patti, his family's ancestral village in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh district, about a children's library initiative that was not yet fully operational. The idea was close to Jaya Bachchan's heart after she visited the village.
He said the building existed but still needed arrangements and resources. His apology and assurance that it would open brought an unfinished family-linked commitment into a very public conversation.
