Where Winds Meet will launch its Hutuo Battlefield narrative arc on 13 November as part of the game's first global anniversary update, according to the PlayStation Blog. The story moves to a war-torn frontier as northern invaders push across the border, centring on the battle of Zhongdu Bridge.
The anniversary update also adds new board game modes, and the Dual Spears martial art, choreographed by Yuen Woo-ping, follows in late November. For invested players, the anniversary looks like considerably more than a cosmetic celebration.
