Screen Australia's Games Production Fund offers grants of up to A$100,000, with applications closing at 5pm AEDT on 25 February 2027. It targets incorporated Australian studios whose projects already have an early prototype and are working towards a milestone such as release, Early Access or a vertical slice.

It is a different proposition from early seed support. For independent teams, that kind of backing can materially change the scope of a development plan.
