NSW makes games travel support more flexible
Screen NSW's combined Screen and Digital Games Travel Fund now accepts applications year-round.
A combined Screen and Digital Games Travel Fund will accept applications year-round on a rolling basis, according to Screen NSW. It covers travel for NSW games and screen practitioners attending key events, with eligible gatherings including Melbourne International Games Week, BitSummit, the Game Developers Conference and, from 2027, Gamescom.
For smaller teams, reaching publishers and collaborators can be a serious expense, making practical travel support more consequential than its administrative name suggests.
