Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Outlanders would launch on iOS and Android on 29 October. Developed by Tencent's TiMi Studio Group, the mobile title is part of Capcom's effort to broaden recognition of its IPs in the growing global mobile market.
That strategic ambition is significant: established console properties increasingly need convincing mobile identities. The challenge is making the experience appealing on phones while retaining what attracts existing fans of the long-running series.
