Metro's next destination is February 2027
Metro 2039 launches on 4 February 2027, according to Xbox Wire's Metro Redux update announcement.
Xbox Wire's Metro Redux next-gen update announcement confirms 4 February 2027 as the launch date for Metro 2039. The announcement does not list platforms for the new game.
The date gives returning players a useful deadline for revisiting the earlier campaigns, which have just received a free next-gen update on Xbox Series X|S. It also adds another substantial adventure to an already crowded early 2027 calendar, with the series' claustrophobic identity offering a very particular kind of escape from the everyday.
