Lara's next look balances memory and modern detail
Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog explain how they redesigned Lara Croft for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.

Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog have discussed redesigning Lara Croft for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a reimagining of the adventurer from the 1996 original, according to the PlayStation Blog. The team used the original silhouette as its anchor while adding modern detail, including hair cards, realistic skin rendering and outfits modelled on real cloth.
With a character this familiar, even small choices invite scrutiny from fans who know every version of her wardrobe. The game is due on PS5 on 12 February 2027, with pre-orders live on the PlayStation Store.
