Freddy Krueger makes Fortnite personal
Defeat Freddy Krueger at Nightmare Neighborhood to claim an item that teleports you towards opponents.
Fortnitemares introduces Freddy Krueger at the new Nightmare Neighborhood point of interest, according to Games.gg. Defeating him yields an item called Freddy's Nightmare, which lets players teleport within range of opponents and then attack them.
Elsewhere, players who defeat animatronic bosses can possess them and roam the map using that character's abilities. The seasonal update therefore goes beyond fancy dress, giving its horror visitors a direct role in how matches unfold. Freddy also turns up at Freaky Fields, so there is more than one place to find trouble.
