Screen Australia's Emerging Gamemakers Fund offers grants of up to A$30,000, with the next round opening on 14 December and closing at 5pm AEDT on 25 February 2027. It can fund a prototype or the completion of a micro-scale game, for projects with budgets of up to A$500,000.

For eligible creators, that can help turn an early concept into something demonstrable. The crucial step is matching the project to the fund's criteria before investing time in an application.
