Crimson Desert discovers life beyond the battlefield
Charting the Unknown adds ocean exploration, new storylines, romance and housing to Crimson Desert.
Charting the Unknown, a new DLC for Crimson Desert released on 29 October, adds ocean exploration, three new character storylines, romance and an upgraded housing system, according to Xbox Wire. Players can build ships to sail the Great Ocean of Pywel and dive to find ruins, treasure and new creatures.
Liberated castles can become personal strongholds to decorate, and players can lease and run businesses such as a restaurant or smithy. It is an ambitious domestic turn for an action adventure: saving the world, apparently, does not exempt anyone from property management.
